Valentines day is getting closer and the theme has inspired a great number of packaging designs and products here for the romantic few days. There is plenty of tacky and cheap packaging out there but these designs have caught my eye because they are excellent! Particularly this Moet packaging.

Moet champagne is in a league of its own and this Valentines gift is an excellent example of brilliant packaging design and a beautiful product idea. The special edition pink packaging has a blank space of the front and comes with a gold pen for you to write or draw whatever message you please to your loved one upon the front. This allows a level of customisation to be easy to orchestrate and cheaper to do that having a custom made label. The fact that it will be done by hand also makes it far more personal for your valentine. The hints of gold across the packaging look beautiful and go excellently with the pink. The pink its self is also a good quality pink without the tack finish or tone. Making this a beautiful piece of packaging.

Hotel Chocolat is the number one place to go for luxury chocolate gifts and this years valentines day is no different. They have a huge selection of gorgeously packaged gifts however their selection of keepsake heart tins is beautiful. Coming in the pattern above a soft pink and white they all contain different chocolate. The tins themselves can be re-purposed as a trinket, jewellery or cookie holder, reminding that special someone of you whenever they use it. The beautiful designs are simple and all show that you have put thought and effort into your gift. Re-usable packaging is also fantastic for the environment as there is less waste involved after the initial gift has been eaten or used, making this gift a win win for everyone.
